Your vehicle’s cooling system deserves attention when the temperature gauge changes, coolant needs repeated topping up or you notice a leak. AMR Automotive in Calgary can assess cooling system concerns and discuss the repairs or maintenance your vehicle needs.
Looking beyond a coolant top-up
A cooling system assessment may include coolant condition and level, radiator hoses, the thermostat, water pump and cooling fan. The checks depend on the vehicle and the symptoms. A coolant service should follow the vehicle’s requirements rather than be treated as the answer to every overheating problem.
When requesting service, describe when the concern occurs: in traffic, at highway speed, during a longer trip or soon after starting. Let the shop know about warning messages and recent cooling system work.
For cooling system maintenance or an overheating concern, call AMR Automotive at 403-243-2483 or request an appointment. If the vehicle is already overheating, speak with the shop about how to get it assessed before driving it further.
