Fluids and filters
Review engine oil, coolant and any other fluids covered by the vehicle’s service schedule. Ask about engine and cabin filters. Fluid or filter replacement should reflect the vehicle’s requirements and condition.
Battery and connections
Mention slow starts or any recent need for a boost. Battery testing and a check of the connections can help assess a starting concern.
Tires and brakes
Have tire condition, tread wear and pressures checked when discussing a seasonal change. Tell the shop about braking noises, vibration or changes in how the brake pedal feels.
Air conditioning
If the A/C is not cooling properly or airflow has changed, discuss an inspection before the weather warms up. A cabin filter check and an A/C diagnosis address different parts of the system.
